The drive from Los Angeles to San Diego took almost 7 hours (yes, <i>seven<\/i>) instead of 3, and as a result, at one point, I whizzed in a bottle (yes, <i>a bottle<\/i>). For the record, it was an empty <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Vitamin_water#VitaminWater\">Vitamin Water<\/a> lemonade bottle, which was nice because it gave me, you know, a sense of symmetry. The rest of the convention proceeded with no unorthodox waste removal procedures. I&#8217;m catatonic right now, so you&#8217;ll have to wait until my next post for non-whizz-related highlights from the convention.<\/p>\n<p>For now, to commemorate the recently ended Comic-Con, a <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Decepticon\">&#8216;Con<\/a>:<\/div>\n<div align=\"center\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.jasonbot.com\/bootlegsketch\/shockwaveweb.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"WIDTH: 400px; CURSOR: hand\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/www.jasonbot.com\/bootlegsketch\/shockwaveweb.jpg\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<div align=\"center\"><span style=\"font-size:78%;\">click above for larger view<\/span><\/div>\n<p>This is <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Shockwave_%28Transformers%29#Transformers:_Generation_1\">Shockwave<\/a>, drawn with a modified transformation that I came up with. The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tfu.info\/1985\/Decepticon\/Shockwave\/shockwave.htm\">original toy<\/a> had a gun barrel which was essential for the gun mode, but served no purpose and had no venue of storage in robot mode&#8211;my revised transformation imagines that the gun barrel could split apart and slide back on Shockwave&#8217;s arms.
