Fresh from her debut in Street Fighter IV, here&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/streetfighter.wikia.com\/wiki\/Crimson_Viper\">Crimson Viper<\/a>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.jasonbot.com\/bootlegsketch\/SFcviperweb.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.jasonbot.com\/bootlegsketch\/SFcviperweb.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<div align=\"center\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div align=\"center\"><span style=\"font-size:78%;\">click above for larger view<\/span><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>When I first saw the screenshots of this character, I wasn&#8217;t that impressed. Her braid seemed a bit too reminiscent of <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Cammy\">Cammy<\/a>, while her outfit seemed more appropriate to Street Fighter&#8217;s rivals over at the <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/King_of_fighters\">King of Fighters<\/a> series (not that I have anything against King of Fighters, it just felt like an odd fit). Well, a few rounds of unleahing her bad-ass flaming split-kick (quarter circle back + kick, executable in mid-air) changed all that. Now I&#8217;m totally won over by her extravagant <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Pompadour_(hairstyle)\">pompadour<\/a>, her <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Morpheus_(The_Matrix)\">Morpheus<\/a>-esque nose-pinching sunglasses, and yes, her exquisite wardrobe.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>If my sketch of Ryu represents the Street Fighter franchise in general, today&#8217;s sketch represents the most recent installment.
